Odds & Ends #010

Editor’s Note: So I believe I am in the running for Worst Blogger Ever. Not because the last time I really posted anything of “substance” was 4 months ago but because this week in an attempt to get back into the rhythm of blogging I scheduled a couple of posts that this morning I noticed never went up. Why you ask? Because I’m an idiot and have no idea what week I’m currently living and scheduled them for next week. #MajorFail, I know. So here you are, yesterday’s Odds & Ends post a day late. I know my millions of fans were anxiously awaiting it.

What are your plans for this weekend? I have a long to-do list of errands I hope to get through – returning some clothing items I ordered online in the wrong size, looking for a dress for a work event next week, buying birthday cards for some upcoming birthdays as well as writing up some posts for this blog! And that is on top of the usually cleaning and tidying up I do on weekends around the house. But the odds are I will likely sit on the couch and catch up on my t.v. watching eating pints of ice cream (my favorite flavors were on sale this week!) to keep cool in this upcoming heatwave. Stay cool people, literally and figuratively.

Did you know this? I literally get inside my duvet cover to put it on. Seriously, see the picture below.

Me inside my duvet cover kicking the ends of the duvet into the corners of the cover. A ritual I go through every few weeks.

Next time you find yourself negotiation your salary and benefits consider this.

This made me laugh. I usually sign off my emails and texts to my close friends (even my big posts! Yikes!) with “XX.” And it made me blush. Ninety-five percent of the work emails I send are signed “Best”.

Looks like a lot of fun.

Next time I’m near a herd of cows I will have to try this.

I recently picked up a copy of this book since everyone and their grandma seems o be reading it. I’m really looking forward to reading it this weekend. Have you read it?

That’s all for now, have a wonderful weekend!! Xx
